A Texas woman has been accused of ripping her son’s scrotum, then using super glue to reattach it. Jennifer Marie Vargas’s husband, a soldier stationed at Joint Base in San Antonio, reportedly came home on Sep. 27 to find the couple’s six-year-old son crying with several bloody paper towels stuffed down the front of his underwear.
The boy had experienced a four centimeter tear of his scrotum. The 34-year-old Vargas admitted to injuring her son because she was angry with him.
She told FBI agents that she tried to use alcohol to treat the wound, then used the super glue on his scrotum until the bleeding stopped. She then advised her son to “go to bed.”
The FBI took Vargas into custody last Wednesday. If convicted, she could face up to 10 years in prison.
