Edo State PDP To Give Poor Widow Abused by Gov. Oshiomhole N250,000
The abused widow in the video has been invited to PDP secretariat in Benin city to collect 250,000 naira in order to relieve her of pain.
Here is an official letter from Edo state Peoples Democratic Party:
PDP ENDOWMENT FUND FOR OPPRESSED WIDOW
Edo PDP watched with consternation Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s brutal, inhuman and merciless treatment of a widow street-trader whose wares he ordered seized and who he unfeelingly told to ‘…go and die’ even as she knelt down in fervent protestations and appeals to his pity on a helpless widow.
The governor’s actions are appalling, insensate, disgraceful, indecent, cruel and below board. It is clear that he does not care much about the well being of the people as he pretentiously avowed. Our hearts go to that hapless widow in this her time of travails and through her, to other widows who have been oppressed by the unfriendly policies of the administration in Edo State.

Oshiomhole Tenders Apology To Widow Says He Regrets His Comments
Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State on the 29th of November 2013 apologised for the comments he made to a widow in Benin during an inspection tour on Mission Road, in the state capital, a fortnight ago.
Oshiomhole said that he now regretted the comments which had become the subject of discourse in the social media.
The governor, however, noted that he made the comments in anger.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Oshiomhole’s apology was made when the leadership of the Federation of Muslim Women’s Association of Nigeria (FOMWAN), paid him a courtesy visit in Benin.
He noted that though the challenge of modern times had bestowed on the shoulders of some women and single mothers the status of bread winners of their homes, such should not be used as an excuse to flout the laws.

HEARTLESS!!! Gov Oshiomhole Tells A Crying Widow To 'Go and Die
"You're a widow, go and die!" That's what Governor Adams Oshiomhole said to the widow in the video above during a sanitation exercise of Benin City with some state officials recently. The woman was hawking on the road side which is illegal in the state but to tell her to go and die after she knelt in front of him, crying and begging him not to seize her little means of livelihood, is just cold-hearted.

Zimbabwe Kicks Nigerian Traders Out
According to news reports, starting from January next year, Nigerians trading in Zimbabwe will no longer be allowed to. Zimbabwean authorities said they have given foreign shop-owners, mostly Chinese and Nigerian nationals, an ultimatum to shut down their businesses by January 1, 2014.
From Integrity Reporters
A top official of the black empowerment ministry said only Zimbabweans had the right to run shops that have sprung up across the country and are termed foreign businesses targeted under the nation’s black empowerment laws, the state-controlled Herald newspaper reported Friday.
Those laws, passed in 2007, demand foreign businesses to cede 51 percent control to local blacks. The foreign shop owners have been criticized for taking retail trade opportunities from Zimbabwean traders by selling cheap imports.
Poor townships and city flea markets have in recent years been inundated by shops run by foreigners. According to state media, shop owners who fail to comply will be arrested

Are Peter & Paul Of Psquare Planning A Joint White Wedding?
Paul Okoye says he could not have held his traditional wedding on the same day as his brother Peter.
The Psquare act told HipTV there are cultural differences that must be obeyed. Since his fiancee Anita Isama is from Kogi and Peter’s partner is Yoruba, Paul stated that there was no way the traditional marriages could have been held together in the same place or the same day.
‘So because im dey marry Yoruba woman, wey dem go do am here, if my own na from Kogi, all of us go do am for Lagos? Make una chill. That’s why it’s a traditional marriage. You do it in a girl’s home. When I go do my own, I will do it in her home’, he said.
He however gave a sweet hint though, ‘If na for white wedding, I will answer you’, an indication that the twin brothers could have their white wedding together.
